Q: I don't understand the Auth Key or
Unlock Code? Can you explain what I need to do?
MaxStat licensing works on a key based system. The Auth Key
and the Unlock Codes must match in order for MaxStat to run.
After installation, you will need to obtain an Unlock Code.
When the program is run for the first time, it will generate an
Authorization Key unique to that install. This key can be copied
to the clipboard by highlighting it and pressing CTRL+C.
Next, proceed to the Registered Customer
section of the site and choose the Generate Unlock Code option.
Paste (CTRL+V) the Auth Key into the dialog box, and press the
[Generate Code] button to generate the Unlock Code for your
registered software package. Copy (CTRL+C) this code to the
clipboard and paste it into the MaxStat registration window.
Fill in the rest of the fields: Name, Company Name, and Serial
Number to complete your registration.
Q: How do I purge the MaxStat Trial from
my system?
A: Follow the instructions below to purge the MaxStat demo
from a system.
1. Remove the three vbox files in your system directory
(vboxb410.dll, vboxt410.dll, vboxp410.dll) Also, remove the
Previewsoft directory in the Windows or Winnt directory.
2. Delete the MaxStat directory manually...just in case any files
got left behind. Should be Program Files/Maxstat.
3. Remove all latent MaxStat registry entries. Open the registry
(regedt32.exe). Goto HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software. Look for the
MaxStat folder. Delete it and all of the subtrees.
Now, re-install the registered version of MaxStat.
That should do it.....
